Immigration Closed For Holiday?

Immigration closed for holiday??

Hey, just noticed the big sign on the door at Krabi Immigration “closed from 10-15th. Was going to get an extension as my visa expires on the 15th but they are closed on that day as well.. :o

Anybody know if there will be a penalty when I show up a day late on the 16th??

Thanks in advance… :D

Normally there is no foul if you report the next day after a holiday.

Same, same, in Pattaya on Friday. I wanted to do my 90 day report, but was alerted by a post somewhere that as it was suddenly a Thai public holiday (because of the mess in BKK), Immigration was closed. Someone else posted just as you have that there was a sign on the door saying something like 'Closed until 16th. I even drove past the Soi 5 office at about 3:00 PM and it looked dark and deserted, but just to confuse me someone else posted later on that it was, in fact, open. Just very, very quiet. Sigh - TiT. :D
