Virago-steed-shadow

Featured Replies

I am looking for something bigger than my phantom and found a few bikes on the market:

virago 400 cc: 35,000 with book

steed 400 cc: 80,000 with book

shadow 750cc year 1990 75,000 with book

what would you recommend considering availability of spare parts, modifications, good repair?

it is just for short trips with friends

thanks rono

Hi Rono,

The virago or steed should be easy to get parts. My first bike here was a virago 400 cc . Not sure how identical the shadow 400 to a 750 is...but 400's are plenty around and spares too. My personal choice would be either the shadow or the virago.

hope that helps,

mbox

well rono, depending on your riding experence i would go for the shadow ,all 3 are good bikes and part's are no problem at all.just the 400cc might bore you after a while.

thanks for the replies, my personal favorite was the shadow and I do consider to buy the virago as well.

I have a friend who is a very good mechanic, he used to restore vintage and rare bikes in his home country as well.

We have been talking about bikes and making custom parts so the virago could be a nice project.
