I think baby-faced killer would probably be the correct translation. Lexitron translates เพชรฆาต as one word: "killer" as in killer whale ปลาวาฬเพชรฆาต. So เพชรฆาตหน้าเด็ก would make sense as baby-face killer.

I'm certainly no expert though so I'd wait for the heavyweights to weigh in on this one.

เพชรฆาต is a misspelling of เพชฌฆาต -- ฌ not ร. Different roots.

The translation "baby-face killer" works well enough. Out of this context, a เพชฌฆาต is an executioner, according to RID99.
