I understand the festival is extended - just wondering if the banks stay shut? a nuisance as I have contractual obligations later this week... any info?

Just now it was an official announcement on Thai TV Cannel 3, and the TV Pool.

Bank of Thailand will give a special announcement regarding Banks and stock market.

State enterprizes, financial institutions can decide whether to apply holiday.

Not clear yet if Immigration Bureau will be open.

I need to pay some cash in my account and transfer some to the wifes account ,

but i'v just been to future park and the cash deposit machines are not working It just says sorry on the screen.I tried her bank as well but the same story.

Does anybody know if this is a glitch or are they linked to the bank opening hours ?

Any idea of when they plan on opening. I bank at Kbank and am overseas, but see no activity via online banking through today.
