Surat Thani Province has reported 18 injuries and 1 death during the 7 dangerous day of Songkran Festival.

Mr. Boonsong Techamaneesatit, Deputy Surat Thani Governor revealed today (April 14) that as of April 13th, which is during the Songkran Festival’s 7 dangerous day, 17 road accidents have been reported with 18 injuries and 1 death.

The main causes of accidents were drinking under alcohol influence and speeding. Motorcycle has been reported as the vehicle with the most road accidents followed by utility trucks.
