Immigration Form Tm-7

Featured Replies

I am about to apply for an extension of stay to a Non Immigrant O based on marriage.

I understand I need a form TM 7.

I've tried downloading it from various locations, but it comes out with lots of rows of squares in amongst English text.

I'm presuming the squares represent Thai text & my computer (Mac) cant handle it.

I tried downloading a Thai font program from The TV site, but same result.

Does anyone have an easily printable version ?

If not, then can I get the form at the immigration office ( Mae Hongson) & fill it in there.

Thanks

Immigration will have them. Try a PDF Version.

All Immigration offices have the forms available and the TM 7 only takes a few minutes to complete.

Some offices are NOT keen to accept downloaded forms. One example being Nong Khai, who have made people sit and fill out one of the forms with their "Nong Khai Office" rubber stamps on it, in the past

Anyone used a downloaded TM7 at Jomtien?

Thanks Lite Beer,

Worked a treat.

Don't forget to print forms doubble sided!

Believe that is front/back for some of us. Both sides of one sheet of A4 paper. Top at same margin on both sides.

I have a question regarding this too:

I have a non imm O visa multi entry valid from 02july2009 TO 02july2010

I am legally married to a thai lady with marriage certificate.

I have had 400,000 Baht in the bank for 3 months.

I want to upgrade to a non imm O marriage visa NOW while I still have the money in the bank. The money is needed to help build our house.

Can I apply for the marriage visa now or do I have to wait until my non imm O multi is close to expire ?

Thank you if you can help.

You can normally apply any time your permitted to stay is down to 30 days or less (for any 90 day entry). This is for an extension of stay for marriage (it is not a marriage visa - no such thing). Some offices will let you apply earlier so you could ask if not in your last 30 days of an entry.

If not, then can I get the form at the immigration office ( Mae Hongson) & fill it in there.

Nong Khai will also not accept downloaded TM47 forms (address report). They'll throw it away and make you fill out one by hand at the office.

Rule of thumb: Whatever is non-user-friendly, that's what Nong Khai wants.
