Urgent Request If Anyone Can Assist

I have an urgent request if anyone can assist.

A British gentleman needs to fly from BKK to UK but must have a nurse or doctor accompany him to be allowed to fly due to his medical condition (Just came off radiation for brain tumor).

What we are trying to do is find a doctor or nurse booked on a flight from Bkk to UK next few days so we can book this passenger on same flight.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Sorry can't help and all Thais would need to o through the visa application process I assume unless there is a dispensation if you fly and fly straight back - potentially worth investigating.

The only other avenue I can suggest is bringing someone from somewhere who does not need a visa to travel to the UK. Options include someone from the UK, fro OZ (payment of flight as compensation), Hong Kong, Singapore etc.

There is the issue of insurance as well.

What about agencies ? in UK and elsewhere ?

Personally, I'd contact the British Embassy and ask about special dispensations for a Thai nurse to travel to the UK, maybe stay airside or even return on the next available flight without entering the UK. I think that might be the cheapest option.

I think they're on the scrounge for a UK doc/nurse who happens to be returning (from holiday or whatever) to the UK within the stated time-frame.

I'm guessing no insurance as well and little or no cash.

Presuming no family support either or they wouldn't be hitting the net.

I think the sticker is going to be the insurance side of things. NO westerner is going to potentially chuck their life away if he croaks it mid flight and the family (who don't seem able to cough up now) decide to have a go for compensation from the Good Samaritan. I wouldn't do it for sure.

Still some might or there may be a work around.

Can he sit or will they have to remove like 4 rows of seats (and you have to pay for them !) ?
