If anybody could help me out with some info that'd be much appreciated.

I have a Non B visa which expires on May 29th 2009. How long before the expiry date can I get a new one? Does it have to be the day it runs out or could I theoretically go and get a new 1 year non b from my home country tomorrow? any help would be appreciated as I'd like to get it ASAP, but don't want to waste a flight and money to be told I have to wait until the end of May to get a new one...ya know how they get "a bit" funny with visa rules and regs.

Also my Non B is non extendable so I can't just extend it (obviously)..

You are aware that an entry on that visa on May 28th (or before) will get you another 90 day stay? So you would not need to make a trip for new visa until late August.

In answer to your question there should not be any problem in getting a visa early if that is what you want.

As said. Providing you have a Multi Entry you can exit and return the day before the Visa Expiry date and get another 90 days.

Note. It is the Visa expiry date. Not your current permision to stay date.
