I think you need to give other people a bit more information, you cannot just say

"is it easy to hire a thai'

Tell people what for, and where you are, the more you say the more likely you are

to get a decent answer.

i guess it depends on what you consider complicated. It also depends on the thai. I have hired some that do not care about all of the government rules and just want a job. I have hired others that want to sign a contract and transfer their social insurance to my company. Not a big deal for me since i have an accountant take care of all that but for others it may be a pain.

The usual stupid answers but maybe he needs serious answers to questions such as:

What liabilities does hiring a thai bring. Ie holiday pay compensation medical liabilities.

Are there procedures such as tax or labour permits.

I do not know the answer to these questins but they may be the answers the OP needs.
