mitsubishi Posted April 25, 2009 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Just arrived in Pattaya and I'm looking for other's here who play badminton. Checked out the badminton courts opposite Diamond Badminton. Decent place but no spare players to practice against. Anyone want to meet up and have a few games? I realise the this town isn't exactly the high temple of athletics but surely there's some farang out there that play badminton in this crazy city? Cheers. CarlBkk Posted April 26, 2009 Share Posted April 26, 2009 If you're up in Bangkok there are 2 teams that play (mixed foreigners/Thai), one in Sukhumvit and one in Sathorn. Standard of sukhumvit one is high. Hard to meet players without going there to play singles then chatting with the regulars on the bench who often invite you to join them for games.
