Hi guys, i would appreciate your help on this. I have a multiple entry non immigrant O visa with the last entry being on 27 february 2009. I made my last entry

and got a stamp valid until 19th may 2009.

I know you need a valid non immigrant visa for driving license application. So do they consider my visa as valid by looking at my entry stamp or do they say

it is not valid based on the 27th february date on the visa?

Thanks..

No problem.

The visa type with which you entered Thailand will be your visa status throughout your 90 days of stay, regardless whether it expires or not during your stay.

My 15 year old son has a valid "One year" Motorbike licence,

which he will be able to be exchange for a five year when its due for renewal in August.

He only had a 30 day tourist visa and a letter of residence from the Irish Consul when he took the test.

as far as I know, you can get a 1yr on a tourist visa, but not a 5yr

you will just get another 1yr......

Unless some tea money is passed,

Unless some tea money is passed,

Your first YThai zDriving Licence will be for one year,

thereafter renewable every 5 years.

Tourist Visas are one year only.
