Ferry From Phuket To Phi Phi

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any info on ferry times from Phuket to Phi Phi out of Rassada Pier?

I've looked through ThaiVisa.com and done a search online but can't seem to find reliable information.

Help?

In all my years on Phuket I have never been to Phi Phi but will be making a day trip today & I believe the ferry leaves at 8.30 or 9am. I do know this, you are much better off buying your ticket directly from the ferry operators at Rassada Pier although I understand there may be a dual pricing scheme in effect.

do you know how to Google??? :D

still probably better to buy ticket at pier as mentioned previously :o

Edit: you could fly from Phuket airport also:

Phi Phi Family ferry's schedule, which I used yesterday, leaves Phuket at 8.30am & returns from Phi Phi at 2.30pm. I undertsand this is the cheapest option & I paid 150 Baht, at the pier, going out as my foreman bought the tickets. Coming back I was spotted by the ticket seller & had to pay 300 Baht, the reason being that all tourists pay this price. When I stated I was there to work & showed him my work permit the reasoning changed to "I don't care, you are not Thai".

I remember going from Phi Phi to Phuket about 5 years ago. When we boarded the boat everyone was given a small plastic bag...I thought it was for rubbish....less than 5 minutes after leaving I realised why they had given the bags.....rough...and never seen so many people sick at the same time..... :)
