Firefox 3.0.10 Release

Featured Replies

I have downloaded and installed Firefox 3.0.10 and have so far found it to be great. This new download seems to have the previous problems worked out and it seems much faster.

Yep mine downloaded itself but ever since I get windoez security center telling me my automatic updates are tuned off as if I did not already know it.

If you want get rid off that nagging...

Go to Start---> click Run

Type in "services.msc" without the quotes.

Scroll down until you see "Security Center"

Click to open the Security Center Properties.

First:

Below "Startup Type," click "Stop" and

Second:

under "Startup type" select "Disabled."

Next time you reboot the Security Center should be gone.

Security center has nothing to do with your browser. It will pop up long time before you open any browser.

I also get those updates from firefox automatic but I never experience any difference between the older and newer version.

The only thing I find is that is has had some updates firefox takes longer to start up the first time I open my computer.

And the latest Beta: Firefox Beta 3.5B4 is now available from: HERE for download.

What were the previous problems? I cannot say I notice much difference.

I had some problems with Gmail and hanging up on other sites including Thai Visa. I think it was a combination of my EVDO connection and Firefox not resetting from the connection being disconnected and reconnected. I had to shut down Firefox and restart.

Thank you for that most kind. :)

I know it's nothing to do with the new FF but coincidentally started it's annoying pop up's at the same time as the upgrade.
