Best Border Run Option From Bkk

Featured Replies

I have a double entry tourist visa obtained in Vientiane in February. I would like like to know the best option for a quick and cheap border run to make my 2nd entry. (I am in Bangkok.)

* I extended my first entry by one month; it now expires May 4.

* The original visa indicates I must enter before May 2. Does that apply to the first entry only, or must I also make my 2nd entry by that date (and when it says before, does that include May 2)?

* Would it be better/cheaper to make the trip independently rather than using one of the 'services'? Presumably I can hop a bus from Ekamai to Aranyaprathet, get stamped out at the border, turn around and get stamped back in, thereby using up my 2nd entry, right?

Any accurate and enlightening advice appreciated. Thanks.

Moved to here.

You must make your border run tomorrow or you will loose your 2nd entry.

You can do it on your own if you wish. But if it is your first time I would use an organized run. There is lat more to it than just crossing the border. You have leave Thailand then get a Camboida visa and then enter and return to Thailand.

Here are links to 2 companies that offer all inclusive runs. That have been reccomended by members.
