Surprised no reaction from BYD owners on this forum
In a way you are right, and in a way not. Obviously, it is good to listen to people with experience. But not every user/driver is experienced. And things like battery fires don't happen so often that normal users would have experienced them. I am sure there are EV owners out there who don't even know that there is a fire risk. The sales guy didn't mention that part when they bought it. And then there is the personal confirmation habit. I did this and I made a good decision. I don't want to listen to anybody who might make me rethink of what I did. That is just normal human behavior for anything we bought. And the more expensive the item we bought the more do we like to confirm ourselves that we made a good decision. That doesn't mean all EV users lie when they say how happy they are. Probably many of them are happy. But how many of them sold already an EV? And how many experienced an EV fire? Few. -

It may just be a temporal, and not a causal correlation, but there is a correlation. Autism rate is increasing. The number of childhood vaccines is increasing. Whether they're related is the question. If one guy lost his license, so what? You still haven't provided a source. -

NEWS - 10 - October (1).mp4 Thai Police held a press conference on October 9, announcing the largest scam equipment seizure in Thailand. Seized items included simboxes, mobile phones, and over 10,000 registered SIM cards. Two suspects, a 68-year-old Thai man and a 33-year-old Chinese man, were arrested. The raids targeted four locations in Bangkok, The equipment seized would have enabled criminals to make calls from around 3,000 phone numbers. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra urged ASEAN to avoid entanglement in geopolitical conflicts she was speaking at the 44th ASEAN Summit in Vientiane. She emphasized that peace and stability can be maintained through cooperation and pledged Thailand’s role as a promoter of peace and shared prosperity for regional development. The Department of Health will issue a new regulation to tighten control over cannabis and hemp extracts. It will set criteria for applying, granting, and renewing licenses for production, import, export, sale, and possession for medical, commercial, industrial purposes and research. those that fail to obtain a licence could cace 5 years in jail or a fine of up to 500,000 baht. Drunk Indian Tourist Assaulted After Harassing Woman on Pattaya Beach
When I was in Goa many years ago, Indian men on the beach would approach unaccompanied Western female tourists especially those wearing bikinis asking for a photo with them. They thought putting their arms around the female was acceptable, was surprised the number of women that allowed this, they just thought the men were being friendly. Later on I travelled extensively in India, some of the stories I was told by Western women about travelling in India especially on buses and night trains was pretty shocking.
