May 8, 200917 yr Sorry all, moved it to here!!! Hi all I'll be travelling in a week from LHR - BKK with EVA and I want to ask whether the on-line check-in is worth it? I note that you still need to checks your bags and get a boarding pass which is obvious but do you still need to queue or is there a desk at the EVA check-in at LHR that takes care of this that will be less busy? I have flown EVA many times but have never used the on-line check in facility. If I have to queue then there is no point in my opinion although I may get a good seat (not guaranteed so I have heard) but will never be able to get a bulk head seat as they will only issue these at check -in.(not that they have ever given me one anyway!) Any comments or experience? Regards
May 8, 200917 yr Check their web site and book your seat from the seat plan. You need to use your booking code. I use this all the time but from Vancouver.

Regards Hi, I always book my seat on-line and flying out of heathrow a few months ago I did the 24hr before fly check in as they have a counter for this purpose - no queueing.. I got to heathrow at 4pm ish and after having a coffee went to check in and there was no queue! so i have no idea if its of benefit I also book the servisair lounge for £18 for 3 hours which is next to eva air gate! so quiet/peace/food/drink for 3 hours.... the flight was delayed and they let me stay in there for another hour!
May 9, 200917 yr Thanks fvor teh replies. I live just 10 mins from LHR and so getting there early never appeals to me but I am sure that at 4pm there is no queue!! I may well also book the lkounge which is a good idea. I'll try the online check-in this time an dsee how it goes.
