Pinning Relevant Facts Of Thread At Top Of Each Page

Featured Replies

Not sure if the software allows, or if George wants to spring to have it done, but it would be nice on multiple page threads to be able to have all the "facts" on top of each page.  Take for instance the thread about the mysterious deaths at phi phi.  How many posts were asking about the guesthouse name, the number of unfortunate victims and their names etc.  If that verifiable information was at the top of each thread, it would save us all time and effort as well as keeping the thread (hopefully) more on topic.

The latest 22 page threads about a bar mat is a good example of how pinning facts would have saved everyone a bunch of time and energy.  However I can see that gathering more page views and showing more ads probably is better for the bottom line revenue, but not necessarily better for the members.

I don't think its possible to pin a post at the top of a thread that isn't the original post, steelpulse. We are working on a board upgrade so I will see if that is even remotely possible in the new one.

However, it must be pointed out that in those really long threads, alot of people don't even start on the first page, just click on the last post.
