May 12, 200917 yr A Multi Entry Non Imm O Visa is unlikely to be issued in Laos. Best bet seems to be KL or Penang. Last reports from KL were saying that they want to see 100,000 Baht in your bank account. As far as I know they accept Malaysian Ringit only.
May 12, 200917 yr Author before i came to thailand we went to the thai embassy in finland while we where on holiday showed them the marriage certificate passports etc paid 175 dollars got it done in about 20 minutes no mention of money in bank etc i do not have any money in thailand only overseas options anyone please PastEgo Edited May 12, 200917 yr by PastEgo
May 12, 200917 yr Do you have income that you can get a letter from your embassy to prove an income of 40,000 baht a month to get a 1 year extension of stay based upon marriage. You could get a single entry visa and extend your 90 day entry for 60 days at immigration to visit your wife. Have you used your last entry of your visa yet. You can leave the day before your visa expires and get another 90 day entry and then extend that entry for 60 days also.

May 12, 200917 yr You will get another 90 days as long as you leave before July 20 th. You can apply for a 60 day extension at immigration of your 90 day extension of stay. The requirement for getting an extension based upon marriage has always included proof of income or money in the bank. See 2.18 for the 1 year and 2.24 for 60 day extensions of this police order. police_order_2008.pdf I don't understand your reluctance to put money in a Thai bank. All accounts are guaranteed by the goverment. You need money to live on here. Just put the 400K in the bank for 2 months and then use the money to live on until 2 months before the next application and top it up to 400K again. Yoy don't have to keep it at 400K for the full year or even keep it here if you don't want to. You can get a double entry tourist visa that gives you 60 days per entry that can be extended for 30 days at immigration. After the first 90 days you have to a border run to use the 2nd entry.
