Research Assistant/translator Urgently Needed

Thai Research assistant/ translator needed

I am looking for a Thai national with a high level of English to help me conduct some research in Lopburi. I will be investigating the human-monkey interaction in Lopburi city as part of my master’s thesis.

The research involves carrying out interviews and assisting people to fill in questionnaires to investigate people’s perspectives. I’ll also be conducting a behavioural study of human-macaque interaction. However, the main part I need assistance with is the translation of interviews and questionnaires.

The position will last from 4-8 weeks depending on how quickly the data can be collected, and I hope to be starting by the end of May. This position is UNPAID, however, I will pay for food and basic accommodation in Lopburi and well as travel to/from the city.

The position is most likely suited to a Thai student who would like to gain some work experience in translation and/or field research techniques.

If you are interested in this position or know of anyone that might be, please contact me (Yolanda Vazquez) on: //e-mail address removed as per forum rules - mod//
