Hi, my laptop (Vista) completely crashed and has a message BOOT MNGR MISSING, press control, Alt, Delete to restart. Well have been doing that for a couple of hours and its still missing, nada....is there anything I can try again myself before I take it back in to the computer man for the third time???

Yes, thank you have just been browsing and I think its back to the computer man tomorrow. Did have Nortan installed maybe something happened there (maybe cornflour virus?). Cant keep searching though, too "pen maark, maark"... AUD 2.00 for fifteen minutes using this internet in a hotel.

You can download a Vista Boot up disk from microsoft, but I wouldn't recommended using the hotel internet to download it. Cost a small fortune.
