May 16, 200917 yr I am a British National, Living in the Uk, England. I am hoping to come to Thailand for 3 months with the POSSIBILITY of extending my trip. I already have been quoted a price for a ticket etc What's the quickest way to get a visa here, in England? Any idea of the costs? Is a visa on arrival an option? Should I extend my stay, can I get a visa extension in Thailand? Those in the know, your response would be appreciated. Best, Ukme.
May 16, 200917 yr Siggest you get a 2 entry tourist visa. You would get 60 days each entry that can be extended for 30 days at immigration here. The cost is 1000 baht (£28) per entry. It only takes a few days to get a visa.suggest you contact one of Honorary conulates in Hull, Liverpool, Birmingham or Cardiff. They all accept mail in applications. The embassy in London is not a good choice they don't accept mail in applications and are difficult to deal with. Edit: Contact info. May 16, 200917 yr Before June 4th Tourist Visas are free. This only applies to single entry tourist visas, I believe.
May 16, 200917 yr Royal Thai Consulate Vientiane would disagree - having issue thousands of two entry free.
May 17, 200917 yr Or apply for a multi-non imm "O" Visa from Hull. Good for 1 year with 90 day border runs. They will issue on the basis of "visiting freinds".

Sawat dee khrap When you say "Visiting friends" does it include girlfriends also? I wonder if that 1 year Multi-non imm "O" Visa is also applicable to US citizens. Any idea as to what documents are necessary and/or essential to that particular visa? Your input in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Pisico
