I am surprised that noone has leapt on this, normally people love to try out their phonetics. Here is my suggestion, lets see if it winds-up anybody.

mi-ti (both i as in tit?)= มิที mi-tie= มิไท ญาสมิด or ยาสมิด The only problem is the lack of an 's' ending in Thai, so if my rendition is ok you just tell people to say the 's' ending, from previous threads most people are happy with it nowadays. I think that you will normally get either 'yat mit' or 'ya samit' at first.

I asked three thais today how to write it and got two different answers. I would suggest you try to get as many thais as possible to write it as they think it sounds to them.

Names, EVEN thai names can and do have a myriad of spellings; yet when pronounced it still sounds relatively the same.

Take the time to get it right. ..

Don’t be in a rush to ink something on your arm which no one can read. ..

Good Luck
