Whenever my son goes to the U.S. consolate web site for an appointment, it shows that all appointments are full for the next year! What are his options?

Just show up at the embassy and apply for a tourist visa. It's rare that anyone is denied if they have the proper documentation.

if she was not a bar girl, or at least they don't know she was, and she has some money in the bank or land or something to show she will likely come back they are giving visas. when asked about her job she said my friend supports her and that worked, but they did check bankbook for deposits. my friend just got one and made the appointment online and it said they were full up also but wound up with the appointment within a couple of weeks and got the visa.

There is a glitch in the appointment system. You just have to keep trying and the open appointment dates will appear.

It is not very easy for a Thai to get a visa to the US.

They have to show very strong ties to Thailand. Otherwise it will be turnded down.

Having job to return to is probably the best one.

Unless your son has strong ties to Thailand also. IE: A job and/or a long stay visa. It might be best if he was to stay out of the process.

You don't just show up. An appointment is mandatory.

I would say that the majority are denied.

It is not all that easy and documentation is not the entrie factor.
