Can my Thai wife get a Thai passport here without a trek to the Thai Foreign Office in Bangkok?

We want to go to the UK for a couple of weeks in July to visit my adult kids.

She will be struggling to get a visa for July if it is first visit.

Wife needed a new passport here in UK and was told by Embassy in South Kensington that it had to come from F.O.in Bangers.

Quick visit to ensure all paperwork in order with payment plus £3 deliverly charge from said Embassy and she got it in approx 4-6 weeks.

Rog......best if you go to Bangkok and do it. I did it last month for the wife and it was quick and easy.
