i'm on a one year multiple entry 'B', and I got leave the country (for a week) before my first 3 months are up, so do i just leave and then return, or do i need some kinda re-entry permit (thats what i had to get when i had a work permit, but i don't have that anymore).

also, will a new three months begin from the time i return, or will i still have to do a border run 3 months from the date of my first arrival in thailand (if that makes sense??)

You now appear to have a multi entry non immigrant B visa and obtain 90 day stays and have to leave/return for a new 90 day stay - correct?

If correct then you just leave and return for a new 90 day stay. As long as your visa remains valid you can continue to do this at any time.

You do not have to do anything. When you return you will receive 90 days. Assuming your Visa is still valid of course.
