In November my GF and I are spending a week in Hanoi - and doing the usual things in and around the city. But would love to take my GF to hoiann for a few days - I realise its a bit of a trek and can be complted by overnight train but am having difficulty finding sites which can give me accurate info on how to get there from Hanoi and time scosts etc. I would plan to get the overnight train stay 2 days and get the overnight train back to Hanoi.
