Multilpe Entry In Phnom Phen?

Recommended Posts

Applied for a dual entry tourist visa in PP, couldn't get one, single entry only. Interestingly the old English teacher guy next to me, DID get a dual entry tourist visa, but he hadn't been to Thailand in over six months whereas I had and possibly due to his age he got the dual.

Dunno, anyway I'm 27 and didn't get it, on the otherhand it was free so can't complain.

  • 4 weeks later...

when i was in thailand with my first tourist visa i had the same experience than dageshi, try to have an other double but they give me a single and they said to me that next time no need to come back cause they will give me nothing :) .And for the single i had to plead my case to the consul (i was waiting for some paper in order to apply for a 1 year visa witch i have now).

Not a cool ambassy at all for visa

when i was there it was before the free visa period. look like PP is not the good place to apply for tourist visa. I was told (but never try so it has to be confirm) that they are more flexible in Ventiane.

Meaby off topic (sorry) but long time ago had also bad experience in singapour with a business visa and lot of friends living in thai with tourist visa avoid singapour

This is a very good question.

According to my visa run agent they were going to revert back to issuing double entry tourist visas once the free period was over. I don't think Phnom Penh was interested in being overrun with tourist visa applicants when they were free. I was surprised that Vientiane persisted through this period.

The best way to find out would be contact one of the visa run companies. Back in February they used to arrange a visa run where you would be brought to Poipet and they would send a runner to Phnom Penh to get your double entry tourist visa while you relaxed for 2 nights in a casino hotel.

I obtain a business visa in Phnom Penh once a year. The first time you arrive get the $25 business visa on arrival. Any travel agent will get you the one year visa in one day. Cost: Different every year but around $250. No more page wasting in the passport every time you enter Cambodia.

Topic is about Thai visas not visas for Cambodia.

Anyone have recent info about weather a multiple entry is available in PP?

Thanks

What type of visa are you asking about? Non immigrant or tourist,?

If it's a B visa the answer is no.

For an O it's a maybe denpendent upon what basis you have for getting it.
