HowardJohnson
My accountant is suggesting I look at processing my Permit To Stay a full 4 months early as she has heard that there will be some major changes to the visa rules in July. Has anybody else heard any substantial about this? Cheers HoJo

PatinBKk
Apparently as of 1st July, no visas are required. If you produce 50 satang and can say sawadee at any border entry/airport you will be given full citenzenship
Maestro
The subject of visa and extension rules is too important to allow discussion of unfounded rumours. If and when there is a change in any of these rules, it will be announced in a new topic. -- Maestro P.S. An important change in visa-exempt entries has now been confirmed. Please see this topic http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Immigration-...ne-t269827.html -- Maestro Edited June 1, 2009 by Maestro Added postscript - Maestro
