Yellow Buses - Loud And Cheap Quality?

With all the hype about those yellow buses I would like to add my 10 cents and question the quality.

From the outside they look nice and fancy , but I find those babies incredibly loud when they pass by.

Even louder than those old, smoke belching junk boxes.

Anyone else has the same experience?

I mean, even the Chinese must have heard about noise pollution.

Took one of these yellow babies (shuttle from the Airport- to the bus terminal) lately.

Well, after just a short while in service (the airport is not that long open) and besides being very noisy (engine) in the passenger cabin,

that bus was literally falling apart from the inside.

And this on the new road surfaces around the airport.

How long will the life cycle be when they roll the streets and potholes of Bangkok?
