Palladia (toceranib phosphate) is the first drug to be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration specifically to treat cancer in dogs, the agency said in a news release Wednesday, June 3, 2009. It's heartening to know that health science is just as focused on our animal friends as on we humans in sourcing new techniques and drugs for treating our ills.
