Thai Partners In Public Office

Saw this by ubonjoe

I live way out of town. The police know me well because my wife is the village head person. (man).

and wondered how many members Partners held similar positions.

My TW was a Puyai Baan (village boss) for a number of years until being voted out in the last election, our electioneering budget was less than half of the winner and we know what that means! Anyway she only lost by 32 votes out of the 1750 eligible voters but the job did have its benefits as ubonjoe expressed, I am well known by the local hierarchy and that is ongoing which, IMO, can only do me more good than harm.

Anyone else?

Edit: Typo
