Looking for a bit of advice from thoses in the know. I want to sell my car after I finish my current work contract. By the time I am ready to sell it (I need it for my work), my work permit and non-imm B visa will have run out, and I will be on a tourist visa for my final three months in Thailand. My question is: will I have any difficulty selling it without a work permit? I also still have a small amount of finance I am still paying on the car, and I am worried that the finance company might be insistant on my having a work permit in order to sell the car. Would it be better to pay off all the finance now, or could I still run into difficulty trying to sell it privately? Any advice, thoughts or offers on the car of course, would be much appreciated.

There is no need for a work permit to buy, finance, sell, transfer, pay off finance.

Sometimes its more easy to sell a car with existing finance, because the buyer can take over the finance on same condition, rather than having a used-car finance at higher price.
