Coalition to survive till yearend at least: Sanan

BANGKOK: -- The coalition will likely survive at least to the year's end regardless of the political ambition of the Bhum Jai Thai Party, Deputy Prime Minister Sanan Kachornprasart from Chart Thai Pattana Party said Monday.

Sanan said he was confident that the competition between two coalition parties - Democrat and Bhum Jai Thai, would not spiral out of control.

"The aggressive campaigning by Bhum Jai Thai over the weekend at Sakon Nakhon was a normal political event although it should not be underestimated by other parties," he said.
