Hi all,

Looking for a decent bar in Sumhumvit area to celebrate my b'day with a few friends. Reasonably priced drinks, pool table(s), good atmosphere, not (too) sleazy...any ideas? I always liked the old Country Road with all you can drink beer from 4pm-7pm and free pool. That's not there any more, unfortunately.

Soi 8 Bar sounds ideal for you. You'll have to guess where it is though

why not try the Crossbar Soi 23, pool table, large beers at 80 and 100 Bht, sports screened all day and friendly locals... by the way the foods good too!

I agreed soi 8 (not hard to find) happy hour till 7pm - beers between 65 & 75 thb - 2 pools but they don't get busy till around 6pm. They also have a free BBQ on Friday evening, just introduce to Dave (the manager)
