Apply For Visa From Neighbouring Countries

Featured Replies

Applying a Thai Visa in Malaysia is free. What about if my visa expires when I am in Thailand, but too far away to go back to Malaysia, and need to apply in other neighbouring countries (eg. Laos, Vietnam, Burma)--

1/ Is it free too?

2/ Any other fee I need to pay to the neighbouring country tht I will be applying the Thai Visa (eg. visa run at Nongkai-Vientian border is free, but a charge of THB500 is needed for Mae Sai-Burma border for the Burma gorvernment).

3/ Can i get a double-entry visa (like wht i got from Malaysia's Thai Consulate) also? If not, wht is the max I could get?

Thank you.

You will get a free visa in all coutries the same as you get in Malaysia.

It depends upon which consulate you go whether or not you get a double entry or not. Many will give you all the single entries you want for free but not 2 entries.

I think you would have to pay for visa to enter Cambodia. It is $20 or something like 1000 baht.
