BuaBS
I get these messages surfing the net on Chiang Mai's maxnet. ขอ อภัย ทางสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติขอระงับการเชื่อมต่อมาที่เวบไซต์นี้เนื่องจากมีรูป ภาพ หรือข้อความที่ไม่เหมาะสม เช่น ลามกอนาจาร การพนัน หรือเป็นภัยต่อความมั่นคงของชาติ which google translates as: Ask forgiveness for the Royal Thai Police to suspend the connection because this site has a picture or text does not fit like raunchy gambling or detrimental to national security. Is this nationwide and internet provider dependent? So sensorship is here? By the way, nothing to do with the R@y@ls, just clean p@rn sites. phazey
Censorship has been in Thailand a long long time. The database is a generic one, all isp's *should* query.
onethailand
Actually, nearly all ISPs implement different lists - probably different based on when it was last updated. As far as I know, only one ISP does not implement a block-list - that's Internet Thailand. The rest are all different.

BuaBS
Thanks for your replies. I heard about sensorship, but I stayed 2 months before , same place, same provider, and no sensor. Doesn't using a proxy make surfing even slower, and it is already so slow....
