I Left The Country Before 90 Days

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I did my first visa run and I flew out of Thailand and back in again. Is that all I need to do? Whats with this reporting business? I did the visa back in April. Am I in trouble?

You only need to do the reporting if you have a visa that entitles you to stay longer than 90 days, such as a one year retirement or business visa. If you did it in April you will have a stamp until sometime in July and you will have to leave again.

No problem, the 90 day reporting is only for people on extension of stay longer than 90-days.

Even if you are like me, on one year extension of stay, the 90-day count restart if I leave the kingdom.

Great news. I was just a little worried as a friend of mine said I have to report to the Thai immigration when I come back to Thailand when I do my visa run.

Which I now know is not the case
