Thai Passport For Infant

Featured Replies

Went to the Department of Consular Affairs, 123 Chaeng Wattana Road,Laksi, Bangkok 10210 today, to apply for a Thai passport for my Thai/Australian 6 month old son. A very easy process, I was in and out of the complex in 40 minutes, including parking. Documents required are; Thai mothers ID card, expat fathers passport & Thai birth certificate. Photos and finger prints of the infant are done at the office. Cost was 1000 baht and it should be ready in 2 days time.

Excellent service by the Department of Consular Affairs.

For 30 or 35 baht they even send the passport to you by EMS.

Thai passport offices are very efficient. My wive was in and out within 20 minutes, at Bangna office.
