They are quoting government figures, so I don't think they are lying on this one. The cold hard truth is that a very large number of people. In the UK with no right to be here are claiming a lot of money, money being sourced from the UK taxpayer. Many of them, by virtue of having recently arrived and bring illegal immigrants have paid nothing, not even a token amount, into "the system". Yes "Reform" are milking it to their electoral advantage; but unless Labour and the Conservatives come up with policies to stop this, policies which are credible, and demonstrate a definite intention to act, then electoral anger is going to slaughter them at the next election. Many worry about the rise of the right wing in our politics. I do too, but unless immigration and these massive costs are brought rapidly under control it is inevitable.
