Thai Lessons

Featured Replies

hi guys

I speak fairly good Thai, with a basic grasp of reading + writing.

however I would like to take it to the 'next level' with some more lessons, perhaps 1 month intensive in either BKK or Chiang Mai

has anyone got any recommendations for good schools / private teachers or a particular program?

appreciate the help!

I just started with this guy, Ajahn Pat in Chiang Mai. He is excellent, experienced, professional, great English, very clear instruction. His website is a bit goofy, but he is a great teacher and sanook. Website is www dot thaispeakingyou dot com. Email patsuttajit at gmail dot com. Has a nice classroom/office to teach in over on Jaroensuk in the Santitham / Chang Puak area near the YMCA and Kad Suan Kaew.

Cheers

I'd just like to second what Khun Yod has to say. I went to Ajarn Pat some months ago and highly recommend him for all the reasons given above, in addition to which he is very flexible. If you don't want to do an entire course, he will adapt one for you, and restrict it to the areas you specify.
