A Roving Twitch?

Featured Replies

I get these light twitches or spasms in all parts of my body. They come and go but I will get them a few times a day, in one part only. They are very small in size but I can get them in my legs arms or either side of my temples (the most frequent) (eye strain?). I can also feel them sometimes inside my leg or chest. They can also occur in a place where I have put pressure on. I did strain my neck a while a go (from sitting at my computer too long) and I had vibration in it for a couple of days.

I think I have had them a long time it just now they seem more noticeable. I don't really know if they are muscular or something to do with my blood flow. I'm going to have them checked out but interested if anybody have any ideas what they could be.

Hi Tricksy,

Curious indeed. Good idea to get them checked out by a competent physician, and or a neurologist. I have a professional background in mental health, so what you are describing sounds a little like a neurological problem, and perhaps a form of epilepsy, but I could be entirely wrong. If they are becoming more noticeable, and starting to affect you more, you really do need to have a thorough investigation, that perhaps includes an EEG and a Catscan. But find a good Dr. first. I have used Samitivej in Bangkok for various things, and while they are expensive, they are generally very competent. Best regards.

I get the same thing but it's pretty much constant. Buzzing in my legs and twitches (mainly in my legs but all of the body as well). In fact it all started after the 1st time I went to Thailand. I've had lots of tests but they have never found anything. Kinda freaks you out a bit though.
