Extending Non Imm B Visa Once Work Permit Issued

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have recently been issued with a work permit and have a non imm b visa with just short of three months to run on it. Where do i go to extend this to a one year multiple entry and what is the process. Also how much does it cost to extend to a one year multiple?

Thanks

Flojo

If the company has been in buisness for two years or more and can provide all the needed documentaion you can get an extension of stay at immigration the fee is 1900 baht. The company should know what documents are required.

If not then you get a B multiple entry visa in KL if you have a work permti valid for about 9 months. Plus the required documents. See this webpage: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2482.php?id=2492

A multiple entry visa cost 5000 baht.

Thanks Joe - is the extension of stay multiple entry or would i have to apply for that seperately

You would have to apply for a re-entry permit. Multiple re-entry 3800 baht and 1000 baht for a single.

Here are the basic requirements at this link. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/post-a77473-.html Section 2.1 is for business extensions.

This and other related information can be found above the "forum topics" in the "important topics" section.
