If it exist in W7 I would think of the "My Documents" folder if you have saved files to it...

Download windows 7 release candidate (RC) burn to disc. Then while running beta version put the disc in and tell it to do a upgrade, simple.

Well, it's not quite that simple. Need to either diddle with the .iso file before mounting it, or use the files/setting transfer utility in Win7:
