Anyone Knows What This Is?

Featured Replies

I came accross these pictures on another website without any explanation what this would be.

The Thai flag in the background shows that these pictures have been taking in Thailand.

Could that creature be a crossing of an overcharged US NAVY Semen and a Phuket Ladyboy?

looks like a malformed goat (first picture).

Looks like a pig that has been fed on uranium 235 until it died.

With your imagination you should be in a science fiction author.

It looks like a malformed baby water buffalo to me. Too much interbreeding?

It`s how swine flu started.....The tattooed version is more dangerous....

It's a baby cow. You know those things that are sheparded around the Villages for whatever reasons. It's Thai version of steak.

In the pictures the locals are praying for good luck and winning lottery numbers.

It's a common Thai scam!

Many times such creatures pop up, often "found" by villages near the Thai/Lao border. In actual fact they are fabricated using different body parts.

They make money from them. Often selling them for big money as they are believed to be very good luck!

Lao people are particulaly partial to this scam

Hi. It looks Like some1 (a human) did something with an animal with hoofs.and that was the outcome. :) .ouch

Thats what you get when you cross a goat with a water buffalo. Typically only happens if the water buffalo is stuck in the mud, and the goat is a very horny fellow.

???????

Coalminer.

Get a spellchecker. :)

The Thai version of the famous Roswell incident... :)

Anyone know what it is? - yes, its called a "scam" or a "con" (as in con trick) - they appear in various forms every few years or so in rural parts of Thailand, and get moved around from rural location to rural location.

Thats just lovely :)

I was going to say a goat kid with the "elephant man" genetic disorder....but then water buffalo was mentioned...more likely.

But if a beast or chimeara brings good luck.... why not fabricate one :)

This can only be the work of chemtrails.

That's what you'll look like if you ever try to call a US NAVY Seaman ... "semen" to their face!

I have no Idea, but it sure one heck of a Conversation Piece. :):D:D

Being serious now, the animal is not fake. It appears to be a neonate water buffalo that was born with a congenital defect called Hydrocephaly. Ever hear of 'water on the brain'? Well, it's where the developing fetus has a defect where abnormal amounts of cerebral-spinal fluid accumulates within the brain. Look it up on google image search if you don't believe me. It's pretty rare in livestock but is not rare to find it in people. This little guy has a pretty advanced case of it which has distorted its head to look like a freaky alien. But if you look at the legs and the ears, I would say baby water buffalo is the victim's identity. The abdomen is distended due to a normal progression of decomposition: bloating. Once the little mutant died, gut bacteria go wild as the immune system of the animal is dead too... and they make gas. The dudes standing around covering it in powder? I dunno about that.... I am a biologist not an anthropologist. Enjoy the freaky google image searching!

UPDATE: I sent pictures back to my co-worker (She is a wildlife biologist too) and her opinion is that it is cyclopia (a birth defect) and associated hydrocephaly. She also sent me a link to this picture. Poor bugger.

looks a tad bit fake to me :)

because it is, that would be to freaky

Whatever it is, I don't think it ever lived once it was born. Or for long, anyway. Still has an umbilical cord.
