Replacement Passport

Featured Replies

I lost my passport the other day and I'm about to file the police report.

When I get the new passport will they issue me with my original multiple entry o-visa?

Or will I have to leave the country when my last entry period would have ended (mid July) but upon re-entry, and from then onwards, I'll only ever be given the standard 15 days stay before having to leave again?

It's BAD news if it's the latter as it means having to fly back to the UK within the next month when my original visa wouldn't have expired untill November! :)

There is no way to transfer a visa so if your original passport does not appear you will only have your current permitted to stay stamp. Passport will be canceled upon report (they do not want some terrorist using it).

You will need to get a new visa.

What is the basis for your non-o? If it was for family then you could possibly get one in KL or Penang.

If to visit friends then you could get one in Perth Australia.

I assume you are from the UK. It will take 10 days to get your new passport.
