Cat Cdma In Mahasarakham

Featured Replies

Does anyone use CAT CDMA in in the vicinity of the old campus at Mahasarakham University, i.e., mobile phone, USB modem or Edge air card? I would like to get some information on speed and reliability there based on user experience. Any information good or bad will be most welcome. If you are currently using one of these products, and are in that area, I would just like to know if you are satisfied with the connection, reliability and speed.

hi there, i live near the old university in mahasarakham and purchased an edge gprs/3g modem from edge thailand and am quite happy with it. the speed and reliabilty are good although not as good as broadband i use in he uk, but its fine for surfing e mail and download speed is not too bad. the only dissapointment is when i use skype.

the other good thing is that you are not tied to any network, so you can look for the cheapest, and you can use the modem in most countries including the uk.

Hi tibap,

Thanks for the info. want to get either a USB modem or an edge for a student I sponsor who is on the old campus, but in an off campus dorm. I will have the student contact the CAT office in Mahasarakham to get one of them...the choice being as I userstand it which one has the longer range between stations.

Again, I appreciate the info.
