AROUND THE 13TH IN MOST PLACES BUT I WAS TOLD PATTAYA IS AROUND THE 17TH. WAS GOING TO SPEND SONK KRAN IN PATTAYA BUT IF IT IS 17TH I WILL BE BACK IN UK!!! Dragonman Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 Davethailand correct. Elsewhere New Year 13th-15th but Pattaya's main celebration is on 19th. Lots of people living in Pattaya go up country to their parents homes for the New Year. Come back on 17th or 18th for the mayhem.Normally takes 4hours to drive 2 miles!
