Wide Wireless Internet

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Wondered if anyone here is using the Wide Condominium wireless internet service and can give me some idea of it's real world use, they've just installed into my condo building and i've got a 7-day free trial account and looking for any info from anyone using it out there. The deal seems pretty good to me, 4Mbps download/2Mbps upload for 790 Baht/Month.

I've run some initial Speedtest results this morning, here's what i've been getting:

Bangkok, Thailand:

If I have this speed I be HAPPY ! I don't even close to this, (and I use the line not WI-FI) :-(

I would kill for that speed right now.

Any cap?

How many nodes?

No cap that i know of, they are very cagey about the contention and the outbound speed of the line from our building, although time will probably tell on that one, it only officially went live today so probably hardly anyone using it yet. Thats why i wondered if anyone else had some experience of these guys. They're coming to install a wireless repeater in my apartment tomorrow as the signal is a bit weak so i'll quiz the techie guy that comes out a bit, hopefully he'll be a bit more forthcoming.
