Would you rather have savings in US Dollars or Thai baht??????? :)

They're both a gamble so therefore not to be considered as savings?

Got both + Euro and Pounds...one of them has to pan out.. :)

Well if you have costs in Thai Baht, keeping sufficient money in Thai Baht would remove any risk due to exchange rate fluctuations.

I make a wire transfer once or twice a year from my US bank to my Thai bank. Due to the Thai government thinking the exchange rate should be 36 to 37 baht per dollar, I have decided to wait and see if the dollar appreciates. That may very well be a mistake but I have no idea which way it will go. I have already lost two baht per dollar since I decided to wait.
