"Pol Maj-Gen Montri also said the Metropolitan Police Bureau plans to issue warnings instead of tickets for eight minor offences which do not cause traffic problems or accidents. The offences are: driving a vehicle with a red plate during the time not allowed by law; stopping a vehicle over the solid line at intersections; not driving a motorcycle on the far left; taxi drivers not being properly dressed; stopping a vehicle in a zone classified as safe area on a road; the use of film coated with mercury; allowing materials to protrude from a vehicle without a warning flag or light; and not keeping to the left when driving slowly."
